San Francisco, CA – Big news from MLK Middle School! Justin Chen, an 8th-grade student and the school’s President, Has made MLK the first middle school in SFUSD Middle Schools to have a student government website. Through his research the only school that is on the SEO of student governement in SFUSD is high school. One of the popular ones are Lowell Student Association. Besides that no middle schools have a dedicated website. We are currently estimated as 1st because no SFUSD middle school has their SEO posted on Google.

The new website is all about bringing the school community together. It has announcements, event info, voting tools, and even a place for students to share their ideas. Justin hopes it will make it easier for students and teachers to work as a team.

“This website is more than just a project—it’s a way to connect everyone at MLK and give them a voice,” Justin said. “It’s a big step forward for student government, and I hope it inspires other schools to do the same.” - Justin Chen (School President)

The website is part of Justin’s big plans for his Agenda 24/25 campaign, where he promised to bring new ideas and tools to help students. It’s a one-stop spot for everything happening at MLK, from school news to ways students can help shape the school’s future.

This achievement is a big deal, not just for MLK but for all middle schools in San Francisco. It shows how much students can accomplish with hard work, leadership, and a love for technology.
