About The Chen
Foundation
The Chen Foundation Human Resources Dept.
Hello! Welcome to our Recruitment site for The Chen Foundation, brought to you by The Chen Foundation’s HR department.
At The Chen Foundation, we have established guardrails and a mission statement to guide our work and decision-making principles. Founded in 2022, our board was formed by a group of visionary students and a visionary leader named after the board. Their mission was to advocate for students and serve as the governing office for the presidency. As of now, the board is approximately three years old, and September 1st marks its birthday.
In the 2025-2026 academic year, the board elected in the summer will serve for the next four years, unless any necessary changes arise. This year, our focus is on student advocacy within the district and enhancing school communities through youth leadership and advocacy. You will participate in workshops, lessons, and various other activities. Throughout your four-year term, you will gain valuable insights into leadership, business, e-commerce, and other essential skills. Critical thinking plays a significant role in this board, and the decisions made here are crucial.
We are actively recruiting more board members to contribute our ideas and expertise. If you are interested in leadership, please complete our application form, and we will review it and schedule interview dates for you.
The application deadline is November 22nd, 2025. Interviews will commence promptly once we receive applications.

🩵The Chen Foundation is not affiliated with or connected to the San Francisco Unified School District. Instead, we support students in San Francisco Unified School District through leadership, projects, and clubs at their high schools.
