Chairman of Board and MLK Middle School President Highlights Grand Opening of San Francisco Sports Hub

I believe that the students will utilize our field and thank you to America Scores, Bay Area Host Committee, Mayors Office, and all the people that supported us on this incredible journey. This was a remarkable event that will mark MLK history a lot. To our students remember to keep our field clean, respect it, and take care of it as this field will go on for many years and for our future students! It was an honor to have our Mayor of San Francisco (Mayor Lurie) come to our incredible event and thank you to his team and administration for supporting us! Thanks to America Scores and all the other investors and contributors that made this incredible field happen for us! As 8th graders, about to graduate, it is a very exciting and we are very happy that this was able to happen before we graduate! - Justin Chen (School President)

The president of MLK, Justin Chen also our Chen Foundation chairman delivered his remarks on this incredible event marking May 8th our ribbon cutting of this new field. This field was a dream of many students and it was a plan brought by one of our lead soccer coaches and this plan took 7 year. A total of 7 years to make this incredible field to happen. Like one of our speakers at the event said, we invest in you guys and we want you guys to invest in this field. Play all the different sports and reach your full potential here at this athletic field. This field is now known as the MLK field of dreams. But America Scores director has now addition to the name to name it after our soccer coach for his hard work and dedication on creating this field!
